Prem Niketan has a village atmosphere in the midst of a lush garden. The inmates have a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Volunteers, students from our neighboring colleges visit them and make them happy by entertainment programmes. The Social Welfare Department from Ranipet District has recognized Prem Niketan and offered all the permissions to run the home officially. Since the number of senior citizens as well as cancer patients are increasing, there is an urgent need to make a couple of halls and a treatment cum Doctor’s room. The total area of the new upcoming building is 8000sq.ft it includes ground floor & first floor. In the ground floor there is a kitchen and dining hall which are completed fully. The dining hall can accommodate more than 60 persons easily. Now we need to concentrate on the ground floor construction, the plumbing work, electrical work, furniture, painting and so on are remaining. The dining hall and the kitchen, comes around nearly 1000sq.ft, yet another 7000sq.ft work is remaining.
Of course, the budget is really big, hence those who contribute whatever you may think little is going to be a great support for the well-being of these senior citizens and for the cancer patients.
